Put right a part that was matched wrong
Every row in the quote points at the right part, including the one the automatic matching could not manage.
- 1
Open the quote
Click Export in the toolbar and pick Create quote.
- 2
Pick a price list
The dropdown Price list at the top shows your lists with their number of parts. Change list and every choice you have made by hand is reset.
- 3
Read the red box
If it says that 3 of 12 rows have no part in the price list, those rows are not in the sum. They stay in the table with a red background and the quantity intact.
- 4
Understand why the row did not match
The automatic matching requires the size of the part to be exactly the same as the size on the row, and the material to agree or to be missing from the price list. A 160 pipe never matches a 150 part.
- 5
Change the part in the column Part
Open the dropdown on the row. At the top is the group Fits the size, and under it Other parts, which is the whole price list, so no part is out of reach.
Worth knowing. Every option shows size, material, length and price: 1234 – PP-rör 160 mm (160 mm, PP, 6 m, 289 kr). That is how you tell the same pipe in 3 m and 6 m apart.
- 6
Remove a part you do not want
Pick No part selected at the top of the dropdown. The row turns red and is not counted into the sum, but the quantity stays in the quote.
- 7
Put the reducers right in their own table
Reducers are priced per piece and have a table of their own under the runs. There the suggestion group is called Fits the reducer and holds only piece-priced parts in the larger size.
- 8
Check Total inc. VAT
The box at the bottom shows Subtotal ex VAT, VAT 25 % and Total inc. VAT. Only rows with a part are counted in.
Worth knowing. The changes apply to this quote and do not touch the price list. If the part really is missing, better to add it to the CSV file and upload it again.
