Why you get no cookie banner

Consent is required for storage in your browser that is not necessary for a service you asked for yourself. We use no cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, and we share nothing with third parties for such purposes. What is stored is either necessary for you to be able to stay signed in, or a setting you made yourself.

That is why there is no cookie banner. Not because it was forgotten.

What is actually stored

The list covers the signed-in service. On the signed-out website, the only thing stored is your choice of light or dark mode, if you make one.

NameTypeWhat it doesHow long
sb-*-auth-tokenCookieKeeps you signed in between page loads. Set by Supabase when you sign in.Necessary for the service.Until you sign out, otherwise a year at most.
themelocalStorageRemembers whether you chose light or dark mode.A setting you made yourself.Until you clear your browser.
mangda.tool-profiles.v1localStorageYour saved tool settings in the take-off view. Never leaves your computer.A setting you made yourself.Until you clear your browser.
mangda.document-strip.v1localStorageRemembers whether the drawing strip is collapsed or expanded.A setting you made yourself.Until you clear your browser.
mangda.billing-banner.v1sessionStorageRemembers that you dismissed the reminder that the free trial is ending.A setting you made yourself.Until you close the tab.

localStorage is not a cookie, but it comes under the same rule: the law is about storage in your equipment, not about the word cookie. That is why it is listed.

How to get rid of them

You can clear everything from your browser’s settings. If you clear the sign-in cookie you are signed out. If you clear the others, the service forgets your colour mode and your saved tool settings. None of that affects your projects, which are on the server.

If you block cookies entirely you cannot sign in: signing in relies on the session being saved between page loads.

If we change our minds

If we ever want to measure how the website is used, we will ask first, and this page is updated before anything of that kind is switched on.

What we otherwise do with personal data is set out in the privacy policy.
