Get the quote to count in whole pipes
The price list says how long a pipe is, and the quote orders whole pipes instead of metres.

Add a längd column to the CSV file
Write the delivery length in metres on every product that is sold in whole lengths, so 6 for a six-metre pipe. The heading can be längd, rörlängd, stånglängd or leveranslängd.

Leave the length empty for parts sold by the piece
Bends, junctions, chambers and reducers have no length. Leave the box empty on those rows.
Worth knowing. A reducer with a length filled in is never suggested on a reducer row in the quote, because it is read as pipe. That is the commonest reason a reducer shows up red.

Fill in the unit
Write m for products that are priced per metre and st for products that are priced per whole item. If the unit column is missing altogether but the length is filled in, the row is read as st.

Check for millimetres before you save
If the lengths are in millimetres, 6000 say, they are converted to metres and you get the warning that the lengths looked like millimetres and were converted. Read those rows in the preview.
Worth knowing. Anything from 250 upwards is read as millimetres, since no product is sold in lengths longer than that.

Read the number in the quote
In the column Quantity incl. waste it says for instance 9 pcs at 6,0 m · needed 49,7 m. The need is your measured metres plus the waste allowance, so 47,3 m measured becomes 49,7 m with 5 % waste, and the number is always rounded up to whole items: 49,7 divided by 6 is 8,3, so 9 pipes.
Worth knowing. 47,3 m of need becomes 9 pipes at 6 m, so 54 m paid for. The last 6,7 metres are not a calculation error. That is the remainder on the last pipe.

See what actually gets priced
If the part is priced per metre the sum is number × length × unit price, so 9 × 6 = 54 m in the example above. If it is priced per piece it is number × unit price. You pay for whole pipes, not for the 49,7 metres.

Put in every stock length you buy
If the same pipe is in the list as both 3 m and 6 m, Mängda picks the one that comes out cheapest for that particular row. If the pipes have no length at all, the row is priced straight off the measured metres.
